Customer Complaint

1/21/2026

I am filing this complaint regarding services purchased from The Red Spectrum for business credit reporting and tradeline services. • $449.00 — Gold Package / Boost (Nov 2025) • $299.00 — Additional service (Nov 2025) • $153.95 — Service charge (Nov 2025) • $54.95 — Recurring charge (Dec 2025) • $54.95 — Recurring charge (Jan 2026) • $299.00 — Additional service (Nov 2025) Between November 2025 and January 2026, I paid multiple amounts totaling approximately $1,3010.85USD. The services were explicitly sold and confirmed in writing as reporting business tradelines to Experian Business, Equifax Business, and Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) within a stated timeframe. Despite full payment and repeated follow-ups, no tradelines were ever reported to Experian, Equifax, or D&B. The only evidence provided by the company was a screenshot of Factiiv, which is a separate bureau and not equivalent to the promised reporting. This was not disclosed at the time of sale. I have extensive proof including invoices, payment records, emails, and SMS messages confirming the promised services and timelines. The company continued charging recurring fees despite non-delivery of the core service. I attempted to resolve this directly with the merchant in good faith but received no meaningful resolution. As a result, I have initiated a formal dispute through my U.S. bank (Mercury Bank). This complaint is based on non-delivery of services, misleading representations, Resolution Sought I am requesting a full refund of all payments made, cancellation of any remaining charges, and written confirmation that no further billing will occur. I also request acknowledgment that the promised reporting to Experian, Equifax, and Dun & Bradstreet was not delivered.

Company Response

After reviewing our internal records, the customer purchased services from The Red Spectrum related to business credit profile support and Factiiv reporting. Our service scope was to report the customer's business account activity to Factiiv, which is the credit reporting platform listed and explained on our website. The Red Spectrum's Credit Bureaus page explains that our reporting is through Factiiv: https://www.theredspectrum.com/credit-bureaus/ Our FAQ page also explains how our Net 30/business credit reporting service works: https://www.theredspectrum.com/faq/ The customer's business was reported to Factiiv as part of the service purchased. Therefore, the core service obligation was completed according to the service scope provided to the customer. The customer previously requested a refund of $299.00, and our records show that this refund was already processed on February 20, 2026. Based on our payment records, there is no outstanding $499.00 refund balance owed. For clarity, our transaction records show the following relevant activity: • $449.00 payment settled successfully on November 12, 2025 • $299.00 payment settled successfully on November 13, 2025 • $299.00 payment settled successfully on December 17, 2025 • $299.00 refund processed on February 20, 2026 We understand the customer is now claiming that additional services were not delivered, including references to other credit bureaus. However, The Red Spectrum's service scope for this customer was Factiiv reporting, and the customer was made aware of this reporting structure. We did not guarantee reporting to all business credit bureaus or any specific funding result. At this time, we believe this matter has already been addressed in good faith. The requested $299.00 refund was issued, and the remaining service was delivered through Factiiv reporting. Please update the complaint record to reflect that The Red Spectrum has responded, completed the service according to the stated scope, and already processed the customer's requested refund. We can provide supporting documentation upon request, including payment records, refund confirmation, website service-scope references, and Factiiv reporting confirmation.
