I purchased a money order from quick trip in shawnee kansas on May 14, 2025 To make my car payment. Went to Unity one Bank on Kansas Ave in Kansas City, ks . The money order was made out to Mud American Credit Union., Reciprocal banks The money orders posted and went through on Unity one side,but was returned as ficticious/altered. I was told that the money order had insufficient funds on 7/8/25 by Mid American Credit Union but prior to this date I was not given a reason for the return. Western Union keeps telling me that it was cashed by Mid American Credit union an d meanwhile I paid my June car payment and they moved that payment to May. When I make my July car payment they move that to June making it appear late even though I am paying on time. I paid with a $70 money order and a $300 money order. The $300 money order seems to be the only one questionable. The money order number is 19-721895132, made out to MidAmerican Credit union. The $70 money order number is 19-721895133. My car payment total $370. Resolution Sought Western Union should contact my bank and take care of this or refund the money directly to me so zi can pay this. Mid American Credit Union is messing up my credit by moving everything back one month. That was my may payment. I have my receipt for my June payment and about to make my July payment today. They will move that back to the June payment making me appear late for July. I am in a fixed income and cannot afford an extra $300 paid out of it.

I've been trying to refund two (2) money orders that I purchased and were never spent/cashed. I requested a refund online where they both were declined due to them "already being cashed", which is not the case. I had both the money orders AND their receipts that had never left my possession. I contacted Western Union Customer Service and was told I need to send the money orders, along with the receipts to the Western Union located in Englewood, Colorado, to be verified for the refund. So I did. I contacted them again a couple weeks later because I still didn't receive the refund nor any information on it. I was told I also need to mail in fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each money order refund request. So I did. It has now been 4 months since my first step in this progress. I call once a week and I've been told the same thing every time. That "your refund should be sent within five (5) to seven (7) business days. Again, it's been 4 months and now I can't even get a hold of supervisors without them disconnecting from my call. Resolution Sought I would honestly like my requested refund of one thousand dollars ($1000.00), in full ASAP, along with the thirty dollars ($30.00), fifteen ($15.00) each that I paid for the refund request along with an extra five hundred dollars ($500.00) for all of the trouble, miscommunication (on western unions part). As well as an apology from whoever is in charge of the company. Thank you
