Stored everything I own in this Tempe AZ storquest unit including my recently deceased father's 80 yrs worth of collecting gold pieces signed art sports cards and memorabilia victrolas I paid 2 months advance and the manager locked me out took my belongings called it trash and said she threw it away. Hung up on me when I called and the district manager never responded . Apparently according to the manager who did this , the district manager was leaving his position for a promotion that week ( not likely to at the last minute deal with problems with employees he s been in charge of id imagine and perhaps that crossed her mind too as she told me about it ) needless to say my unit was paid for in advance in full and stored everything I owned in this world . and her locking me out and claiming it was trash she threw away doesn't resonate truth nor exempt her and storquest of their responsibility for this theft .I tried their path of authority and got no response . Tempe police have the report and criminal charges are being considered. I want my belongings back and the lady who did this to be in no position to do it anymore to anyone else . Ya can't go in a tenants paid for unit lock the tenant out entirely then claim all their stuff is trash and you" threw it away." And hang up on them " Now go away. " It s unimaginable . Losing my recently deceased father's treasures to this woman in a position she just used to take it all is too much to think about. Resolution Sought I want my belongings back since she claims she threw my trash away then she can go get my dad's gold pieces and gold scale and everything else she took out of her "trash"can. But because none of it was really trash I don't put much faith in her giving me my treasures back so what then ? And if this company allows this employee to stay in her present position I'd be absolutely scared for the tenants who she can cause so much harm to like this next. No policy allows this.

Based on the previous complaints we've received from Ms. Seps, we believe this complaint relates to an allegation that one of our employees stole belongings from Ms. Seps. If items were removed from Ms. Seps' storage unit, they were removed by a third-party criminal, not by one of our employees. The proper method of recourse for theft is via renter's insurance. We exercise ordinary care in the management of our self storage facilities and are not responsible for unforeseeable criminal acts committed by third-parties. Moreover, to date, Ms. Seps has failed to show that items were stolen from her unit or that her unit contained any items in the first place. If Ms. Seps' items were stolen, such theft was directly caused by her own negligence. Our store employees reported that Ms. Seps left her unit unlocked. Additionally, per section 14.A of Ms. Seps' rental agreement (attached), she agreed to release us from liability in the event of burglary, theft or mysterious disappearance, and per section 14.B of her rental agreement, she agreed to maintain adequate insurance coverage to cover the costs of loss in such cases. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we have already reimbursed all amounts Ms. Seps paid to us as a courtesy (and not as an admission of guilt).

Not so. If you spoke with the manager she admits entering my unit and throwing away my junk she called it and locking me out of the facility and my unit. It's criminal for sure that's why the police are already involved. But it's no unknown perpetrator your manager admitted she entered my unit and locked me out is that your policy under any circumstance when the rent is paid up and paid in advance for the next month ? I m sure it's not

Well I have been having a problem with one every time I am there she has disrespected. Every time I meet she's gone in my bathroom twice she has threatened to evict me she called the cops on me today I got thrown out I'm stressed out I don't know what else to say someone smashed my unit door my door is still messed up they didn't fix it correctly they said they don't know who it was because they have no cameras there it's been like a month and a half still broke looks like some one has gone inside again there lights are not on at night but they yon in daytime they have disrespected me and my family my belongings are being taken every day as the door pops out they got me so messed up please help me out it seems like everyone has been apart of this negativity towards one another as well. Resolution Sought Pay me my insurance money that they owe me every day that my door is still messed up and my stress worries mentally and emotionally and financially for my dissertation and humility and discrimination and fired that girl she's totally rude disrespectful mean no people skills and I have so much more to add
