Is it legal for a business of a life necessity such as water to only be open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and the hours be 9am-1pm? ONLY? AND THEN TO ONLY TAKE CASH??? AND NOT EVEN SO MUCH AS OFFER A SYSTEM WHERE WE CAN PAY WITH OUR CARDS LIKE OVER THE PHONE OR IN PERSON? This CANT be legal and if it is... that's just flat out bull!! People work between those hours and I have 5 kids I have to provide for and these mf came and cut my water off and ain't open today for me to pay it so I'm having to wait an additional amount of time just to get my water back on. I understand I should've paid my bill but it's garbage of them to ONLY take cash and no cards of any kind and then to only be open during work hours. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE COME DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PLACE????!!! They give us no leverage to be able to get off work on time to pay it and we don't want to waste our lunch break on paying an effin water bill. This is pure highway robbery and someone may blow this place up someday. Just saying. Resolution Sought Open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Allowing EVERYONE the opportunity to pay their bill in a fair time and employ more workers to staff this hell hole of a place. The place looks like a shack. People don't wanna come inside a 1920s shack. Do better Thomasville!!!

Company states; I would like to respond to the complaint issued by our customer, Mrs. Harvey. First, she did not pay her water bill for several months so we shut off her water, which is our right as a municipal utility when we do not receive payment. She paid her bill after we locked the meter, and we turned her water back on within an hour of receiving her payment. The complaint description she provided to use is grossly inaccurate in that we accept all forms of payment 24/7 thru our website. Our small office is open Tue-Wed-Thu from 10am to 2pm and there is no statutory requirement for us to be open any hours at all but these are our standard hours for customers to pay their bills or make other inquiries of our office administrator. Ms. Harvey made a statement at the end of her complaint that is very disturbing by stating "someone may blow this place up someday." We take this threat quite seriously as a public utility and will be reporting this letter to local law enforcement authorities. Sincerely, Thomasville Water Association
