I went to their website (2/5/24 approximately 8pm cst) at ticketsales.com and picked out two tickets to the Lynard Skynard and ZZ Top concert to be held at Simmons Arena on April 18, 2024. The cost of the tickets were clearly show to be two tickets for $277 each. I agreed to the price and submitted my credit card information. After my credit card was charged the charge was $741.54 (or $370.77 each; Order# 61402870) No where and at no time time were additional fees displayed and I had no idea about the substantial fees (upcharge) that would be added to the order. I was mislead and defrauded with misleading and erroneous information. The next morning (2/6/24 at 8:11 CST) I called Ticketsales.com (1-888-729-4718) and talked to a person named Gred. He said that would not cancel the order and that all sales were final. I explained that the concert was almost 2 1/2 months away and that the transaction only was a few hours ago. I also explained the deceptive practice of not revealing the "real" charges that would be charged to my credit card. I was told the charges would be $554 (2 at $277 each) and was charged an additional $180 fee that was not disclosed until after the purchase was final and could not be cancelled. All this was to no avail. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company due to the deceptive business practice and undisclosed "substantial" additional fee. I went on line to order a ticket from the sf playhouse theater. I ordered a $75 ticket. I was given a ticket for $103 . When I called back to complain about the discrepancy, I was told I had made the sale through a secondary company called ticketsales.com and they had no information about my sale, nor could they reimburse my money because they did not have my money! I maintain this transaction was a fraulent one perpetuated by ticketsales.com. I called the sfplayhouse telephone number; no one advised me that I was in fact communicating with ticketsales instead of the playhouse!!! That is fraud!!! Resolution Sought Reimburse my $103 dollars and give up the fraulent skam ticketsales is perpetuating!!
