I am reaching out to you regarding my concerns in the email below. I have attempted to contact Kayla several times by phone and email without any response. I am very dissapointed that as a paying owner of Christopher Court Condominiums, Gaithersburg, MD, my concerns go unaddressed. This is a serious matter that I am trying to resolve regarding the misappropriation of my condo fees that are being collected by Tidewater Property Management. I am a senior citizen and I feel this is some form of senior abuse as I am experiencing emotional distress and loss of funds. Tidewater Management has been overcharging me for several years now and I would like this matter to be properly investigated and resolved. I am the home owner in the Christopher Court condominiums. I am writing regarding my condo unit 9*** H******** Pl., that is the smallest unit in the development. According to the new budget my 2023 condo fees should have been $315.00. However, I have been paying $400 per month over the last several years. Tidewater has never contacted me to let me know that I have been overpaying and I even made a payment of $400 last month with no adjustment made by Tidewater for this over payment. Resolution Sought I would like to be refunded for the loss of funds over several years for being over charged for my condo fees.

The complainant called several times accusing Tidewater of stealing their money. We explained that we only collect the assessments as directed by the Condo Association – and the money goes directly into the Association's bank account. We also explained that they had gone to their bank's website and set up 2 payments for each month, and each was the incorrect amount (higher than it need be) - so they were double paying each month. We asked them to contact the bank and discontinue the payments- then we could work with them to get 1 payment set up for the proper amount. We asked them to reply to our email requesting a refund and we would process it. We eventually blocked the payments being sent by their bank to their condo association because they had not been cancelled by the complainant. On 2/20 they replied to an email confirming they wanted a refund by email. The check was cut and mailed to them on 2/22/24 which is 5 days before we received the complaint from your organization. Please mark this as resolved.
