I got the drone remote control starter installed in my car a few weeks ago And then 2 days ago all of a sudden I smell burning wire And I see smoke coming from the left lower side of my dash by the fuse box and I believe It's due to a faulty install And when I went to call Tint World to see if they could at least look at it or give me some advice on where to go or what it could be, Or if their install could have affected this- His immediate response was no!!! They treated me very poorly... And even told me to drive the vehicle an hour to their shop after I stated that something was burning in my car obviously leaving the car unsafe to drive. The Drone car starter was still under the 30 day warranty, which means they should have taken it and looked at it NO QUESTION ASKED! Instead they tried to stick me with the fees for towing, inspection and any type of work that they would have to do even though it should all be covered by the warranty, Not to mention treated me totally unprofessionally. They should not be able to treat their customers like this!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Resolution Sought I would like the business to pay for my vehicle to be towed and to fix the issue!! This could have been a very very bad situation and so unsafe!!!

We did install a remote start system in her car. She did call us about a burning smell from her car 2 months after the install. We informed her we needed the car at our shop to diagnose what is happening, it may or may not be related to our install since the car was working fine for 2 months. She wanted us to send a technician to the cars location about an hour away, which we are not insured to do. We told her if she wasn't comfortable driving it, that she needed to have the car towed to us and if the problem was related to what we did we would reimburse her for the tow. She informed us she was going to have it towed to a local shop to get it looked at and we haven't heard from her since. We have never heard back that it was our system that caused the trouble, so we assume it wasn't. While I certainly understand her frustration, we take care of any issues our equipment causes, but there needs to be PROOF it was what we did before we will pay any bill. I'm a little surprised by her anger towards us as we have worked on many vehicles of hers in the past and she has always had great service! We have gone above and beyond in a couple instances to get her refunds on certain special order items. We always valued the complainant as a returning customer.
