My deaf / hearing impaired mother just went for a $20 car inspection by herself today - they were trying to tell her she owed $118 and she was confused. We called up there & they said well her license plate bulbs are out…. Wait - two little bulbs that maybe cost $5 you're going to charge her $98 extra for? They said that's for the labor. ?? To change a bulb that'll take just a couple of minutes. We said just put a rejection sticker on it and we'll find someone else to do it. Found another place and they were shocked and said people are dirty - charged 10 bucks for the bulbs and the $20 inspection. That's it. They were trying to take advantage of her, obviously. Boils my blood. Resolution Sought Stop ripping people off.
