I bought a 2014 Suburban on Saturday May 8th, 2021. Sunday May 9th, 2021 the engine light came on. I text the salesperson a picture. She said she would contact her manager. Text back awhile later and said the manager wants me to take it to autozone to have it hooked up. I did, it came back with 3 codes that have to do with transmission. I sent her a picture of the paper. She said he would call me on Monday May 10th, 2021. Didn't hear from him by 10am so I called. He said he was going to call his friend who works at a Chevy dealership to see what I should do. Said he would call back by the end if the day. It was close to closing time and I hadn't heard anything so I called back. He said his friend told him to have me take it to a Chevy dealership near me (I live 2 hours away from Tom Wood Noblesville where I purchased the car) and have them teat it because they are more specific on the cause. I asked if it would cost me anything and he said no. I called 2 Chevy dealerships near me and they both said it was $125. The Tom Wood dealership was closed by then so I called back Tuesday May 11th, 2021 around 9am and told him what they said. He said he would call his Chevy friend and get back with me. Hadnt heard anything so I called around 4:30pm. He said he didn't know what to tell me, there was nothing he could do. I asked if he would pay the $125 to have the diagnostic ran to make sure it is in fact safe for me abd my 3 children to ride in like he said it was, he said no. Resolution Sought Fix the car or refund my money

Following up – The week following Hailey's purchase I was out on vacation, however did reach out to Hailey after her conversation with our Used Car Manager. On May 17th I contacted Kelly Chevrolet in Fort Wayne, Indiana discussing Haileys concerns with Peter Metzger. Peter informed, when Hailey dropped off her 2014 Chevrolet Suburban she did not have a check engine light on, when asked Hailey responded the check engine light had been hit or miss. Hailey and her family were going on vacation wanting peace of mind nothing major was wrong with her Suburban. See attached invoice from Kelley Chevrolet. At this time, Kelly Chevrolet could not find anything causing the check engine light coming on. Tom Wood Volkswagen Noblesville in goodwill paid her Diagnostic charge. Hailey thanked us for paying her diagnostic charge. All seems well
