Bought a 2011 Kia Sorrento from Tommy's on the14 th of Nov. car ran gd till we got home which was 30 something miles from chadron. Went to turn heat on it was blowing cold it never got warm. Drove 23 miles bk to Rushville Ne and I noticed temperature gauge went up to hot. Car started acting up kept turning off like a vapor lock. Cars been parked sinse. Had mechanic change out new thermostat still didn't get hot. Called Tommy's 3 times told them of problem they said car was checked out and everything was working. They then said they'd find someone to check it out but nothing was ever done yet. I don't know what to do this is 3500 cash I'm talking about here looking out on. I hope this problem can be resolved. Resolution Sought I'm hoping they either get my car fixed or refund my money. I need a running car that is a lot of money to just let go and I have 5 children to take around school etc.

The vehicle was sold AS-IS, and the AS-IS form was signed by the purchaser at the time of sale on 11/21/22. The vehicle was running fine with everything functioning correctly at the time of purchase when the customer drove off the lot. A few weeks later the customer called and indicated the heat was not working. We suggested to get the vehile into a shop for a diagnosis and based on that information it may be the thermostat. About a week later the customer called and indicated that a friend has changed the thermostat, but the heat was still not working. The customer also indicated that the vehicle had over heated several times while they were operating it. It is possible that this has caused catastrophic damage to this vehicle, but that is unknown to us as the vehicle has not been diagnosed by a licensed mechanic that we know of. I feel terrible that this happened as we do our best to sell vehicles that are road ready.
