Purchased a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado from Tony Honda Group Hilo in October of 2019. It still had remaining balance of 36/36 as well as 60/60. They serviced my car regularly after than I went to Lex Brodies. For service as well as possibly new tires if the cause of rough drive was a tire situation. I was referred back to the dealership and I was SHOCK AND EXTREMELY SICK to find out that the INFORMATION THE TONY HONDA GROUP ON MY REGISTRATION WAS INCORRECT. GENERAL Motors has documented that the Vehicle was originally sold on May 31,2018 with 9 miles on it …I did discuss with both General Motors and Tony Honda Group , to find that TONY HONDA NEVER followed up or truly checked all documentation and records to have the correct date the vehicle was FIRST SOLD. This is a huge legal problem as due to the INCORRECT DATE TONY HONDA GROUP HAS ON my registration, and my transmission giving way while my registration still shows first sold June 30, 2018 meaning I still had warranty. That date is incorrect. Tony HONDA GROUP failed to do their due diligence in making sure that all things were in proper legal recordation before selling the car to me or ANYONE else, it is a misrepresentation of dates for WARRANTY PURCHASE the repairs will be $11,500,00 due to their negligence of not proper checking legal information. The amount I am asking REIMBURSEMENT FOR IS FOR REPAIRS AND HARDSHIP. I WAD TOLD BY TONY HONDA IT IS MY PROBLEM!!! They did not offer to compensate in any way. Resolution Sought Pay me the amount I am requesting for repairs as well as hardship. Compensate me for the amount I am seeking as quickly as we can resolve this issue or if not we proceed to court and amount will increase as well as further investigation how they are doing sales that cause financial burden due to their negligence of not following the Federal Trade and auto industry of incorrect recordation of information.
