I bought a roof rack advertised for the vehicle I own, a 2018 Chevy Colorado. The roof rack damaged my vehicle by scratching the paint because it did not correctly fit my car. The seller showed me a picture of the roof rack installed on different model car claiming he designed it for the car I own. This is false advertising and likely illegal. The owner provided me additional instructions on how to install the rack but it continued to damage my car because of it's incorrect design. In instructions were in complete and referenced items that were not included in the package. The seller refused to pay for return shipping label. I ended up paying 62 dollars for return shipping. I also noticed that the seller miss reported the shipping weight. He reported it at 10lbs were the scale at the UPS store weighed it as 13 lbs. Resolution Sought I would like the business to honor their return policy for the defective items they provide me with a full refund and compensation for the shipping cost. They should also consider compensation for the damage caused to my truck.
