I would like to inform BBB that on 3-5-24, while away from my residence at work, Manager Eric Montoya hand delivered a two page letter to my residence. Within that letter stated my identity and also all of account details as well within the letter stating a possible suit against me with Tower Loan. When I arrived at my residence, an apartment complex that night around 7 p.m. I saw a large white envelope with my name written in large red letters across it and the two page letter scattered in front of my door. On 3-6-24 at 8:15 a.m. I called Tower Loan and spoke with a staff member Kierra. I asked her who left a letter at my door and she stated her manager Eric. She than transferred me to Eric's ext. When he answered, I asked him did he leave a letter at my door? and he said yes. My complaint is as Manager, there are business credit and collection procedures and statues regulating the process of debt collection including the prohibition of deceptive, unfair and abusive debt collections practices as per federal trade commission, FBCPA. I am concerned within the level of exposure to potential identity theft consequent to his negligence. I humbly request your prompt most urgent attention in this matter. Thank you Resolution Sought I would like for this Manager Eric Montoya to be reprimanded for his unethical business practices. So moving forward no other customers can become victims to his poor business practices and decisions by not following law dealing with debt collections.

Tower does not recognize the BCA as an entity to which a reply is required. However, Tower investigates all disputes received and takes appropriate action when needed.
