I purchased a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle TDI, off of the internet from Towne Volkswagen, Bowmansville, NY. I live in Illinois. I was told that they deliver vehicles all over, and do interstate sales all the time. I was informed that I had to pay for delivery up front. I paid 1136.00 on 8–12-21, for delivery. I financed this vehicle with Fifth-Third Bank, Cincinatti, Oh. Towne insisted that I have insurance on this vehicle, before purchase, which I have. I have received my payment coupon book from Fifth-Third, and I cannot get anyone at their dealership to let me know when they are going to deliver my car. I also paid $3000.00 down on this car, along with delivery and getting insurance, before I signed the loan papers! No one answers my voice messages. If I do get to talk to a salesman, they never say the same thing. I call every day. The owners name is Tony Daily. His number is 716-683-3346. He doesn't respond to me. The sales manager is James Porco. His number is 716-261-2788. The finance person is Allison Silco. Please help me with this. The VIN number is 3VWJL7AT5EM655088. We were told our salesman was fired, by James. We were told that the paperwork wasn't done right to hire a truck company to haul it here by James. We were told a check was written for delivery, but no specifics given by James. Now, no one calls back. I have asked to speak to the top boss, and we get voice mail. I am getting the idea, the whole deal is a scam. Please help! Please advise. Thank you! W Jones Resolution Sought I need a shipment date on this vehicle, or my money back. I paid $3000.00 down, $1143.00 for delivery, and financed the rest with Fifth Third Bank. Payment is due 9-26-21. How do I get out of this loan, if the vehicle is not going to be delivered?

Consumer contacted Business Consumer Alliance to advise: After we filed the complaint on Towne Volkswagen with you, two days later, Towne VW contacted us to arrange delivery for the vehicle we purchased a month earlier. We received the vehicle a week later. So in all, it took Towne VW, five weeks to deliver our car. Without you contacting them, I believe we would still be waiting on our car to be delivered. Thank you for your help with this! We appreciate it so much.
