Did a bad job on my fence and instead of fixing it when my dogs got out he just blocked me on everything. Reason why we did not realize the fence was messed up was because he made it look like it closed fine we did not realize how bad it was until our dogs got out. Resolution Sought Refund part of my money so i can get the fence fixed after all i did not get what i payed him for. If you need photos i can provide them.

Company Response

The customer called me 6 months after I installed the fence. She said her dog got out of the gate. I went to look at the fence, it wasn't the same gate her dog got out of. I explained that the board on top was warped which would be due to the weather. I explained I cannot guarantee the longevity of the lumber when it's in different types of weather. She left a gate unlocked and I told her I would replace the top board, but cannot guarantee it would last. I latched the gate before leaving. Then, two days later she called me cussing that her dog got out. After she cussed me out, I felt it was necessary to block her on my site because I don't have to put up with that after completing a job correctly. And, her boyfriend cussed me out in front of my family. It took her two months to pay me the rest of my money and if I didn't' do the job right, why would she pay me in full?! I've been in this industry for 15 years and I've never experienced this type of customer. She's expecting the gate to lock on both sides, but no gates lock on both sides. The board was only warped at the top, but it was latched correctly and her dog got out through the walk-in gate which is different than the fence I repaired. There is no refund due.

Customer Rebuttal

No that is not what happened at all in fact here is what happened. He agreed he would take payments and that is fine but also he closed he gate to make it look like it closed just fine when in fact it was not fixed correctly. if it was fixed correctly it would not of warped like that. A fence should not mess up that quickly and he is the one that blocked me i did not cuss at him i just let him know that neither fence would close and i would need him to come fix it thats it he is the one that blocked me because obviosuly he did not want to fix it in the first place. If your going to do work actually fix it the first time correctly other wise do not do it at all plane and simple. All i wanted him to do was come fix it now it will be at least 600 to fix in which i should not have to pay when he fixed it incorrectly.

I would have gotten a call long before the 6 months had passed or she wouldn't have paid me if it wasn't right! I replaced it just like it was before is what I was soposta do! The customer even posted on some site and recommended me to do work and I did a great job on the fence. The boards warping are not my fault!
