I signed up for TruGreen lawn service on October 20th 2023 and signed a purchase agreement agreeing to the first payment of $17.96 and reoccurring monthly payments of $41.04 . I used automatic draft from my debit card for the 1st of each month. The initial payment of $17.96 to start service was paid on November 1st 2023, TruGreen provided the first service on October 25th 2023 & automatic draft of $41.04 was paid November 1st 2023. TruGreen provided service again on November 29th 2023 and the payment was made on December 1st 2023. The next service TruGreen provided was on January 25th 2024 and that service was paid by automatic draft on February 1st 2024. Yet TruGreen skipped the December 2023 service and still with drew $41.04 from my checking account. I canceled TruGreen service on 02/14/2024 due to selling my home & I have texts messages from TruGreen showing the date of every service along with having bank statements showing they were paid on the first of every month beginning with 11/01/2023, I also have proof of the service agreement showing the agreed price with TruGreen. TruGreen owes me $41.04 and is erroneously trying to charge me $82.08. When I spoke to TruGreen to clear the matter they attempted a slew of different excuses and despite all the evidence I have they also asked if I would agree to pay half of the $82.02 when the last service they provided was on 01/25/2024 and they were paid 02/01/2024 TruGreen actually owe me $41.04. This bill is incorrect. Resolution Sought The bill of $82.08 is due to an error on TruGreen part and needs to be erased. I should be reimbursed for 01/01/2024 of $41.04 TruGreen provided me with a text message of ever service and they charged me erroneously without providing service in 12/2023.

Thank you for reaching out to us. A member of the corporate care team spoke with this customer today. They have already spoken with multiple members of our customer care team regarding their balance and our monthly pay plan. The customer was initially set up for an 8 application lawncare program. They selected our monthly payment plan. With this plan, instead of paying on a per application basis or prepaying for the year, we take the total amount the customer would pay for the program and divide the payments over a 12-month period. Because the program only consists of 8 applications, there may months where a payment is processed but no service performed. If a customer cancels service prior to completing the service, and there is balance for services completed that have not yet been covered by their monthly payments, they are responsible for the balance. Corporate care apologized to the customer for the miscommunication/misunderstanding regarding our monthly pay plan. The customer's account has been canceled as requested. The balance at the time the service was canceled was $82.08. Due to the misunderstanding regarding monthly, we agreed to credit half. The customer paid the remaining $ 41.04 on 2/28/24. We have also placed the customer's account on our internal do not contact list as requested.

TruGreen contacted me stating that they’ll look into making sure their sales team be clear and summarized it as a miss understanding but the reality is I was deceived into accepting their service. I was informed that my first bill would be $17.96 as it was and the monthly bill each month would be $41.04 when it was the exact opposite the services ranged from $61.00 and in one of the services it was $100 even though I have an agreement of a monthly bill being $41.04. I settled the bill with TruGreen as it was very frustrating and I grew tired of their excuses. This company is very deceiving I caution others to be careful with this company

Back in September, we had the lawn service TruGreen come out for our monthly service. On our account it is notated that the tech is to secure any gate opened/used back when the service is complete. The tech that came to service our yard that day left my gate open and my Great Dane got out and bit my neighbor. We have a small picket fence that he (our Great Dane) could easily step over if he really wanted out of the yard. We called this issue in to TruGreen and were told by several customer services reps that TruGreen was sorry for the negligence of the tech and that they would cover medical expenses. We had to call multiple times to get someone from a local branch to even reach out. It took the branch manager a month to finally make contact. Here we are another month later and we're being told that the legal department is not going to cover her medical expenses and that we should reach out to our homeowners insurance. Resolution Sought Pay the agreed upon medical expenses as told by the representatives of the company on multiple occasions.

TruGreens "investigation" was speaking to one person that claims to have seen the gate "fly open" but the gate would not have been able to open had the technician locked it back per instructions (lock including the bolt latch at the bottom). I can provide pictures if needed. I have lived at this address since June and have not had issues with my dogs leaving my property when my neighbors lawn services were rendered. The incident happened the day that they technician from your company FAILED to properly secure my property. I have tried to contact an arbiter to resolve this matter. I also have statements from other customers that use your services that show a blatant disregard for account notes and technicians failing to secure their gates as well.
