I had a flight booked for October 9th 2024 2:30 p.m. I went to the airport in Houston they told me at check in that I needed a Nigerian passport I asked him why I'm not Nigerian I said I have my USA passport and Visa he said I needed a Nigerian passport this was the United Airlines supervisor that was there on that afternoon he told me just to step over there me and my daughter we stood over there then I went up to a Turkish Airline person and they told me the same thing and he said whatever that guy said he knows cuz he the supervisor I went straight back with my daughter then I went back to him when he had no people and ask him why he said okay just go stand back I went back then I went to Turkish Airline lady I asked her she pulled my ticket up and said yes you need Nigerian passport I said why I'm not Nigeria and she said you just need it I even have the paper that she wrote it on the website for me to go to and she said if you sit down and do it now and get the approval you still can catch your flight I was so disappointed and disgusted I tried I could not figure it out then I told my daughter let's go we had to then drive two and a half hours back home I was really upset and I'm disabled too it was late so on the 10th I began calling every were Atlanta to New York Nigeria everywhere trying to see why I could not go on my flight finally one day a customer service rep from Turkish Airline on the phone told me if I had bought a round trip ticket instead of one way ticket Resolution Sought I would like them to furnish me with a round trip ticket to Nigeria where I was going to go and to furnish me something for my pain and suffering since since October for the stress me crying on the phone to them my head hurting every time I talk to somebody stressing out about my money and it was of my fault it was their fault because they did not know what they were doing I could have bought a ticket there and I could have went on my flight because they were uneducated they chose not to let me

I live in Fountain Valley, California, United States. I booked a business trip with Turkish Airlines on June,4, 2023 for $4,898.50. I left Los Angeles International Airport on July 22 as booked where I was to land at Istanbul to connect to my flight to Amman, Jordan. I was notified at the counter at LAX that I would get the boarding pass for my connecting flight in Istanbul! When I got to Istanbul I was shocked that the connecting flight was on Royal Jordanian and it would be Economy only ; otherwise TK who issued my ticket could do nothing for me!? I am 67 with some difficulties moving and travel with wheelchair: should I stay stranded in Istanbul?? So I had to take the seat they gave me on a flight that was to leave in more than six hours. Of course now I "lost " my right to TK lounge, so they seated me on a chair right behind the counter. I was trying to ask officers (around 25) to help transfer me to a comfortable area ( I would buy a pass to the lounge) for more than two and a half hours; not even one person responded!!!sooooo mean! Finally I could reach to a person who convinced TK to hand me my boarding pass (economy) and transferred me to a lounge other than TK's! ( I was not allowed to TK lounge even for purchase) I had to pay for lounge ( I have the receipt) I want TK to apologize to me and distress they caused to me. I want TK to pay back every penny I lost.they don't honor their contract. I demand TK honor my return flight. Resolution Sought TK needs to refund the money I lost as a result of the change they made to my flight; they need to pay for not notifying me ahead of the change . TK need to make sure they honor my return flight exactly as booked!TK needs to compensate me for the distress they caused me and the tears I shed feeling lonely, helpless and heartbroken!
