I rented a car in Las Vegas, Nv for a funeral in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. The car broke down twice in less than 24hrs. The first time was right after we left the cemetery. I took it to O'Rileys auto parts store and they informed me the car had no oil in it. I purchased 4 quarts of oil and they gave me a print out of what was wrong with the car. I took the car to the shop in Los Angeles, Ca (where I was staying for the duration of the trip) and the host sent the $180 it cost to fixed the car. I got on the freeway about 45 minutes out from Los Angeles and the car broke down again with a different problem. I was on the phone with the host and Turo and was informed that I would get a replacement car. The replacement car never came however the tow truck driver did. The tow truck driver sat there 3 1/2 hours with us waiting to see if we would get a car. Turo customer service told me they got me a replacement car and to pick it up and head to Las Vegas Airport. However, the host of that car said I had to return it. Turo told me not to worry about returning it and that I would get consequences and fines but I wouldn't miss my flight. I informed the host and declined to pick up car as I did not want fines nor consequences. Turo informed me I would not get any money back. Even though the car broke down twice in 24hrs and I sat on the side of the road for 5 1/2 hrs. The tow truck driver felt bad for us and let us ride with him and he dropped us off at the airport in Las Vegas. Resolution Sought Compensate me and my sister for our time, the money back I paid for the car. The stress, pain, suffering, and anxiety I had being put in that situation.
