Good Morning my name is Akil Small, I brought my vehicle to Tuscaloosa Chevrolet to get some work done and at the same time I'm in the process of restoring my vehicle. I informed the service advisor prior to setting the appointment up and once my vehicle was checked in that the front end of my vehicle has just been repainted and have paint protection film apply to it and that could you please relay that information to the technician or relevant persons. When I came to pick up my vehicle I went to go check it out before I paid to make sure everything is good and that I'm satisfied with the work and upon inspecting the lower lip of the bumper the brand new paint and new film is scraped up and gouged. Immediately I informed and showed the service advisor and she starts to go on a rant stating. "that couldn't have had happened here", "there's no way we could have done that" and I informed her that I'm a mechanic myself and I understand things happen and mistakes occur and then she cut me off and made the comment (to me which I found very unprofessional especially under the circumstances and that I am clearly visibly irate about the situation) 'if I'm mechanic why didn't I just do the work myself" as to say that If i took that route all of this could have been avoided. Fed up with the unprofessionalism and disrespect I requested to speak to a manager. She stated none was present but one will be there on the following Monday. I still haven't heard anything from them directly Resolution Sought I'm not looking for anything free or no monetary gain just the damage on my vehicle corrected.
