We coordinated for this business to move my mom's dining room set to her home prior to mother's day. They put a deep cut on the top of her table and tried to hide it. Once I got them to acknowledge it and reminded them of their policy to fix it, they agreed. They picked up her table and leaves and have had her table for over two months! They don't communicate status and haven't responded to our efforts outside of continued delays. I think that the FTC should also be contacted for deceptive practices concerning its false policy promises to fix damages. Resolution Sought Fix the table immediately or immediately return the table with leaves and/or reimburse my mom for her table, the move, and/or her inconvenience. She also requires an apology for how she was treated.

There hasn't been anything deceptive about the process for claims resolution. I talked with Lolita within minutes of the alleged damage and told her what her options were. I offered to have the table repaired or to compensate her right then and there for the damage. Lolita said that she didn't want to be compensated for the damage, she'd rather have the table repaired. I talked with our repair vendors, and they told me that they were booked up for at least 6 weeks, but they would get to it eventually. I told Lolita the timeline and she agreed to have the repair work done even with the long wait. We have been in communication with her mother since that is who the table belongs to. I can't make the repair process speed up because I'm not a furniture repair specialist. We hire professionals to do that type of work and I can't control another company's work pace, responsiveness, schedule, or anything of the sort. I also was not pleased with the lack of communication coming from the repair specialists. The table is scheduled to be finished and delivered on Monday July 26th. Lolita's mother is aware of this.
