I rented a U-Haul I'm the gentleman I had the U-Haul storage unit broke into and then the truck stolen from the same property when the unit was broken into they said their cameras dates and times were wrong so they couldn't see who stole my stuff and being accused of doing it myself or having someone done it for me after 8 months of going through this since the end of April I've been there four years paid my premiums and my storage payments on time and they're denying my $1,000 claim their insurance company request is saying that I had something to do with it and I knew the person that broke into it yes I think I do know who broke into it and I've given them all the information but they're secured location cameras couldn't see anything cuz they were on the wrong dates and times I don't know what to do there insurance company request is just giving the runaround and basically calling me a liar and a thief I think this is not good business practice I paid my premiums I have plenty of proof and please reports stating that the unit was broken into so if someone could help me out in any way I would appreciate it Resolution Sought I would like their insurance company to pay my claim like they were supposed to do at the end of April when my unit got broke into I truly feel they should be liable for it all since their cameras weren't dated correctly. And then before they could settle this insurance claim on my unit I had a truck stolen out of the storage area. They still won't show me the footage of who took the truck and it won't give me the lock back I gave them that was cut off my unit that I paid for that's my property

A claim was made by this customer, Repwest is the insurance claims department. I sent them photos of the unit and gave them all the information they needed. The customer gave the code and key to the room per notes on his contract by the last manager. When using a saw to cut a lock off a room, it damages the hasp, so no damage to hasp at all. So, Repwest decided it was him or someone he gave his keys to, which is against our policy, so the claim was denied. The truck wasn't on contract and we don't cover vehicles with our covere here. We don't have many cameras there yet because we bought the storage place a little over a year ago. I did everything I could do for the cusotmer and it was up to the claims department. If they decline a claim, it's for a good reason. I can't change their minds.
