No 3-point inspection

These people are sadly pretty dishonest. I came in with a check engine sign and a clear transmission issue. Instead of doing the 3-point inspection and getting to the root of the issue (which was a transmission failure needing to be replaced) they told me to do an regular oil change (60$) and a transmission fluid flush (250$), which of course did not solve my transmission problem and then suggested I do a random smoke detector test and alignment for unrelated concerns. Later after spending 200$ at the Toyota service center, I find out the root of the issue is the throttle body and the 6,700$ transmission replacement. They most likely knew that the trans was bad and needed replacing but instead suggested I do trans flush for 250$ + smoke detector for 100$ + alignment for 60$ + pedal accelerator sensor. How are you in business specializing in cars and you can't diagnose and know direct issues? A few hours after I left a 1 star review on google, the owner called me back to tell me he is sueing me for "defaming" him. I would've like them to do a legitimate 3-point inspection or at least told me to go to Toyota directly to figure out the transmission issue if they were not going to find the issue themselves. Instead they knew the issue and charge me 310$ for service that did not fix the issue.
