Ulta Gift card for Granddaughter for Christmas 2025

I brought a gift card for my 17 year old granddaughter for Christmas 2025. When she opened the gift card the pin numbers were not legible as the numbers scratched off. I her grandmother called the store number that Christmas day. I went to the actual store in DE. I have texted, sent pics if card, serial number. Card number. I even got an email from the company saying they checked the card the $50 was still on the card they redeemed the 50$ but still as of January 24th 2026 refuses to give me another gift card or my money back. If I could give them zero stars I would. Buyers beware!! Their Better Business rating says F. Rosemarie

I will like the store to let the consumer know about the right to cash out gift cards under 10dlls.

On 01/27/20 I visited the Ulta store located at las americas shopping center 3951 Camino De La Plaza San Ysidro CA, and used a gift card to pay. The balance left after the purchase was lower than 10 dlls an asked to cash out the card as consumers are allowed to in California. The cashier and store manager said never heard about that law before and didn't cash out my card. My trans #7600 Store #614 Reg#5 Time 11:02 am Casier Alahna. Already complain to the store but didn't receive any answer. I will like the store to let the consumer know about the right to cash out gift cards under 10dlls, train their employees properly and a apologize for mistreating me as a customer.
