The initial contract was for the renovation of two baths and installation of six exterior windows in five days. The total contract agreement was for 41, 208. 30 required totaling 12,000. $ 12,000.00 paid by check. Three months before any work done. There were no communication updates. Late March installation of exterior window were substandard. Pictures were taken and sent to the business. Weeks later the contractor same return to fix defects. With additional delays forthcoming, we decided we no longer wanted there services. Asked that a reasonable amount be billed for the six window installation. Would not provide me a price for the installation because the company wanted to continue with the contract. Therefore, as of now they have taken $ 12, 000.00 for the installation of six vinyl exterior windows. Resolution Sought I asked this company to give me a reasonable costs for the installation of the six windows and give the remainding balance back. My last communication with them was, they wanted to complete the job. My answer was we know longer wanted there services. The maximum amount that I could sue for in small claim court is $7,500.00. My wife and I have agreed to 4,500.00 for the window installation.
