I hired Union Roofing August 28, 2020 to repair my roof. They charged me $4,245.00. Then they gave me a fifteen year Guarantee. Last week there was a leak in my kitchen on January 16, 2024. It snowed that day. The water leaked through my brand new cabinet. I contacted Union Roofing and informed them that my roof was leaking. I told them i have fifteen year Guarantee. They called me and asked me if i would be home on Wednesday January 31, 2024.I told them yes i would be working from home on that day. A man named Joe came out to my home. I showed him where the leak was in the kitchen. He went outside and then he immediately came back into my house. He said the roof has to be sealed every three years. I told him i have fifteen year Guarantee. He said it would cost me $999.00. I told him i do not have $999.00. I noticed on the Warranty that if i don't get the roof re-coated by Union Roofing Contractors that the Warranty would become void. I want to know what my rights are? This Roofer's name is Joe. I don't know his last name. Resolution Sought I would like then to re-coat my roof and honor the fifteen year Warranty. or give me some of my money back.
