I purchased an item in the amount of $1568.97. I was charged an additional $300 for core. The total amount I paid including taxes is $2060.54. I returned the core and only $300 was refunded. It was not refunded the tax on the $300. The tax amount on this was $30.75. United truck centers claims that taxes are not refunded on core refund. If I were to bring in the store with me when I originally purchased the item I am not charged taxes. I don't understand if I return an item why I am not refund the taxes that was charged.
