I have a 2013 Lincoln MKZ my car was damaged in the flood it's a total loss in my insurance company is refusing to file my claim though I have full coverage and got plus I am fully covered and they do not want to help. Resolution Sought To get the help that I pay for every month.

July 26, 2024 Re: Claim #: 0100377898 Policy #: UAP 178524 Insured: Mr. Delgado Loss Date: 06/13/2024 Complainant: Mr. Delgado To Whom It May Concern: We are in receipt of the above complaint forwarded by your office. Thank you for bringing the complainant's concerns to our attention. During our investigation, the complainant informed our adjuster the loss occurred when he drove through a flooded area, causing the car to stall out. Per Mr. Delgado's policy: PART D – COVERAGE FOR DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR: EXCLUSIONS: 25. Loss resulting from lack of lubricants, oil, transmission fluid, coolant, or loss resulting from internal seepage of water. This includes, but is not limited to, the engine overheating due to mechanical problems and damage resulting from driving through a flooded area. Guided by the policy language noted above, coverage has not been afforded in this loss. I was in a car accident March 28. The person that hit my car is at fault. Police report says it and they person as admitted it to the police. Nothing has been done yet for them to deal with my car. Never ever had to deal with an insurance company like this. They need to be Investigated. Resolution Sought I would like for them to get my car and investigated immediately not when they ready but right now.

Since our numerous attempts to communicate with our insured were to no avail, this file was handled under a Reservation of Rights (ROR). Our insured failed to cooperate with the investigation. Based on our insured's failure to adhere to below policy conditions, United Auto has disclaimed coverage for this loss. We have enclosed the denial letter for your review. Unfortunately I’ve been all that just for you have people who won’t take accountability for when they do wrong. We’re who follow all protocols to get things done the right way end up in the end mess up because your company doesn’t take police reports in consideration of when you’re clients don’t call or file a claim of something they did wrong to take responsibility, which is really sad. I will not accept the simple fact you all go by your client side when they’re in the wrong and police report. Is there to prove it. You will be hearing from my attorney.
