My claim was denied. I think the practices of this fraudulent company need further investigation.
I purchased a "worry no more " policy when I purchased a 2500 sectional from Macys in June of 2016 for a cost of $300.plus . It seemed like a great policy . Recently I moticed what appeared to be nickle sized blood stains on 3 of the cushions . I attempted to clean the spots with the worry no more cleaner that came with the sectional upon delivery . To my dismay the spots were removed but left a white discoleration where I used the cleaner . I filed a claim with Uniters and sent the requiste pictures of the 3 spots . A Uniters technichian was deployed to come and take more pictures . He arrived and spent 15 minutes photographing every inch if the couch . My claim was denied because supposedly he identified otther spots on other areas and therefore determined that the couch had multiple stains occurring over multiple occassions . My claim was denied . When I asked for a refund for a policy that was basically worthless and didn't address the issue I made a claim for I was told I couldn't get a refund as I had used the protection plan by having the technician come to the house ! What a scam !! Macys refunded the amount I paid for plan . Yeah Macys !! However I think the practices of this fraudulent company need further investigation . Hopefully Macy's will sever the relationship with this rip off service . I wish I could give this company a NEGATIVE 5 star rating .
