Customer Complaint

We have rented equipment twice. The first time we rented a large wood chipper. The chipper did not run properly. The second time we rented a gas powered post driver that also did not run. When we returned the post driver, we asked for a refund because we were not able to use it. We also learned that they were aware it was not running correctly when they rented it to us. They refused to give a refund advising that it is against their policy to refund. Resolution Sought I would like a full refund for equipment rented that was not operating properly (or at all) and I would like to make sure that they cannot do this to other customers.

Company states: As a company, we have a policy of no refunds. Customer was offered full credit for the rental. If the customer did not understand our policy before renting, it on our front door and on every contract. Customer can still use credit towards any rental.

Considering that the associate that rented this equipment to us was aware that there were mechanical issues with it prior to renting it to us, would make that no refund policy void. If the equipment rented to us was in good working order, we would understand, however, this was not the case. This company is intentionally frauding their customers.
