On July 6, 2020, your firm installed an air conditioning and heating unit at my home. Recently you had to repair the unit because rodents had gotten into it and chewed up the wires. We could not understand why the sudden rodent problem. Today, December 23, Orkin did an inspection of the property and reported something we should have noticed last July. Your employee removed the soffit in order to install the unit. Not only did he not replace the soffit, it is nowhere to be found. According to Orkin, this allows all sorts of rodents to enter the property causing much damage, not just to the unit you installed, but elsewhere on the property, and there is a considerable amount. Also, wherever he inserted the tubing/wires, are gaps allowing rodents access. They should have been sealed. It will now cost me at least $50.00 to purchase the soffit material plus labor, not to mention what it will cost to make the other repairs required due to rodent damage. This is unacceptable and certainly not very professional. I feel your company should be responsible for at least replacing the missing soffit and the cost to reinstall it. At the time of installation, we had to repair the drywall around the electrical box after him which we decided to forego. I am reporting this incident to the BBB as well as to the attorney general's office. This has caused so much stress and hardship, not only to us, the owners of t Resolution Sought For them to pay for the replacement of the missing soffit. Do not trust them to do the actual work.
