On May 11, took my daughter to Urban Horseman for horseback riding lessons. When we arrived there, Mrs. Deanna noticed that my daughter has Down Syndrome and she said that she did not want therapeutic lessons for my daughter. I told her I wanted recreational lessons. She said she would do it but she did not want Regional Center to have her on her list of vendors. At the end of the first lesson, Mrs. Deanna said that in order for us to secure a time slot, we needed to pay $500 for 10 lessons. I did pay the $500 on May 17. However, she was never able to save time slots for us. I had to make changes to my daughter's schedule every week in order for Mrs. Deanna to provide the lesson. On May 8th, Mrs. Deanna Frame got upset because my daughter said that she wanted to stay on the horse for longer and she wanted to go out on the field. Mrs. Deanna lost her temper and treated us very inappropriately and disrespectfully. I told her that I understood if she did not want to provide the lessons for my daughter anymore; that we would just need to look at what was our remaining balance. She said that I was not going to get a refund and that she had got to see us the following week to continue with the lessons. Resolution Sought Mrs. Deanna provided services on May 11 at 9:30 am. May 17th at 10 am, May 25 at 10 am, and June 8th, 2023 at 3:30 pm; that is 4 lessons out of 10 lessons that I paid for. There are 6 remaining lessons; which total $300. I want Mrs. Deanna to refund the $300 to us. I do not feel it is emotionally or psychologically safe for us to go back for the remaining lessons due to Mrs. Deanna's unpredictable behavior.
