We did not request this service and are being billed for it. We do not advertise in the Yellow Pages or phone book as they are outdated and not effective in our line of business. Please discontinue seeking payment for a service we did not request. Resolution Sought Remove our business name from your accounts, immediately. Stop scamming people and businesses with false information.

My business received a flier that asked me to update my address for FREE. The business used to be the Ponderosa so I was simply updating the name for free and that is all. I did not check any boxes that said it would cost anything. The next thing you know my business receives a bill for $259.00 for dates 11/10/21 and it says it will renew on 02/09/22. As of now my business is not even open yet and further more I did not sign up for anything. Why would I sign up for advertising if my business is not even open? I want my account closed with this scam company and my balance returned to $0. You will not receive a dime from me. I have filed other complaints against this business with the FTC, The Attorney Generals in Indiana and Florida and with my local representative in congress. I have also filed a complaint with my post master general of the usps. I will not stop filing complaints with government officials until this matter is handled. The account number assigned to my business is 5933-1010357 and the Invoice number is 2774562-45-01 and the bill date is 12/13/2021. The name of the business is Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant at 52627 Indiana State Route 933 South Bend Indiana 46637. I am filing this complaint against the US - Yellow Pages PO Box 40506 Jacksonville Florida 32203-0506. I expect to hear back in a timely manner that my account has been closed and my balance reduced to $0. Resolution Sought I would like the account that the US - Yellow pages opened for business to be closed and the balance to be deleted to $0.

This letter is in response to your complaint received regarding account #5933-1010357. The listing for Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant was generated when US-Yellow received a signed order to a mail solicitation, signed by Mr. Zamora. Unfortunately, we are unable to attach the documents using this platform, however, they can be provided upon request. Pricing for the service is listed in several places both on the front and back of the form. If a company is receiving invoices, it is solely because we received a request. It is never our objective to include any business in our directory that is not interested in our products or our service. For that reason, we present an easy cancellation policy. As stated on our form, #12 of the Terms and Conditions boldly and conspicuously states, "Cancellations will be accepted at any time without penalty." Be advised, we have not falsely represented the characteristics or the benefits of our service or products. Furthermore, we have not failed to disclose any information concerning service, products or price. Simply because there was a failure to review the mail piece before it was signed and returned is not a reflection that US-Yellow is guilty of any wrongdoing as their complaint alleges. Our solicitation has been scrutinized by the Florida Attorney General's office as well as the United States Postal Service and has been found in compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. In any event, pursuant to your request and in compliance with our Terms and Conditions, the listing has been canceled. The cancellation confirmation number is B290687. Additionally, the name has been removed from our mailing list. There is no existing balance remaining on the account. Please disregard any billing from US-Yellow that may have passed in the mail with this correspondence. It is unfortunate that we were not given the opportunity to resolve this issue before such measures were taken. We have a simple cancelation policy and this would have been remedied with one email or call. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. Thank you for helping in this matter. It looks like the US-Yellow Pages has deleted the account for my company and reset the balance to zero. If I receive any further bills from them I will let you know.
