We purchased a car that the dealership said come with 12 month warranty. We've had the car 10 months and it's tore up. The car broke down in December and the car lot kept it until Jan 23 when we got it back it wasn't running right and was using lots of oil. We contacted the car lot several times telling them. They had us take it to their mechanic and they said it was low of oil. Said they couldn't fix it. We tried to explain to the dealership and the car lot that the car wasn't holding oil and as soon as you put it in it was using it and fast. It was the only car we had and we had to drive it, so the problem got worse and eventually the motor blew. Now they refuse to fix it and have repossessed it because we refuse to pay for a car that they said had warranty and want honor. Resolution Sought Get our money back, we were lied. They shouldn't be allowed to false advertise. If they are not going to stand behind warranty then they shouldn't offer it. They are very deceptive.

Customer purchased a car 2013 Mini Cooper on 8/1/22 with 124,210 Mile. They also purchased a 12 month or 15,000 Mile Warranty. The vehicle currently has 163,912 Mile on it. Mr. Morris brought the car back in December. I checked the vehicle and found no problems. Mr. Morris had a loaner car throughout this time from USA. I notified Mr. Morris there were no issues with the vehicle and for him to return the loaner car and pick up his car at the end of January and he did pick up the car. I did not hear from Mr. Morris again until the end of March when he stated the car was not fixed and making a knocking Noise. Mr. Morris took the vehicle to Bryant's Auto Reapri where they stated it had ran low on oil. At that time Bryant's filled the engine back up with oil and Mr. Morris took the vehicle with him. Mr. Morris made his payment for April. If a vehicle is ran without sufficient oil it will suffer damage. In the 9months span Mr. Morris deover the car over 40,000 miles, which exceeds the 15,000 mile warranty. Mr. Morris refused to make his next two monthly payments and at that time the account was sent out for repossession.

The car was worked on. Why would it take over 30 days to figure out a car didnt have an issue? Everything stated above is a lie. I can prove it. I have texts to prove everything I said to be true. Also threatened to call my employer and tell them they was getting a warrant for my arrest for hiding collateral. Said it was a federal offense. How can I hide something they have a gps tracker on? The warranty changes from day to day obviously, I was first told it had 12 month warranty. Then it only covered motor and transmission, now it's 12months/15000. The car was using oil after i got it back, but they refused to hear that. Just so deceptive and misleading wow.

It appears there is a question with the warranty. The warranty was for 12month/15,000 miles. He had the car for about 10 months. He drove the car roughly 39,700 miles exceeding the warranty mileage by 24,700. So, there is no warranty in place due to excessive miles.
