I have a 2019 Mazda CX5 with only 20,000 miles. After purchase, I took it to Valvoline on 12/5/2022 and again on 5/8/2023 for oil changes. After the oil change on 5/8/2023, my vehicle started leaking oil. I immediately took it to my local mechanic. They advised Valvoline had overtightened and stripped and left them unable to change the bolt. The shop had to replace the entire oil pan with a new bolt, costing me just under $1000. I returned to Valvoline, asking them to accept responsibility for the damage and to reimburse my repair costs. The manager Britni was very rude, and refused. Resolution Sought I want Valvoline to accept responsibility for the damage to my vehicle, and to reimburse my repair costs.

Company states: We have contacted the customer directly. She provided us with an invoice showing the total paid of $945.00. We reimburesed the total amount as shown on her invoice.

Correct. They did agree to pay me after they were forced to by the Department of Automotive Repair. After a month of their managers calling me a liar and disparaging my long-term auto repair shop as “shysters”. Trust me folks, they have zero integrity and you should avoid at any cost!
