I had an oil change at the Lusby location a few months ago and now I'm due for another oil change, and it was the first and last time I will ever go there. I go to another shop to get my oil changed and get told that the last place I went to (Valvoline in lusby) had tightened my oil filter so tight that it has stripped the union and I have to order a new one from Toyota. I go up there and let them know what's going on and have the union and oil filter in my hands to show them. mind you the oil filter has the valvoline sticker and QR code still on it And the oil filter and union are still stuck together, they said they would have to file a claim and watch the video.I told them that wasn't a problem at all I just wanted them to reimburse me for the part l had to buy from Toyota which was only 37 buck and I also asked that they reimburse me for my oil change since now it's much more of a hassle to get it actually done. I spoke to both Drew and Donald the manager and assistant manager at this location who informed me that manager at this location who informed me that the district manager Ebony would call us about our claim and that she would review the video Within 25 hours. Ebony calls us finally 3 days later and tells us there is nothing they can do and I asked if she watched the video of it and she stated she hasn't but she would call us back within 24 hours. she calls us at7pm from what sounded like her car and tells us she doesn't have enough "information" for our claim s Resolution Sought I would honestly just like to be reimbursed for the part I had to order and the service that I received.
