In November 2017 I was contacted by Vanguard about my trucks factory warranty that was about to expire. I still had 7 plus months left on my bumper to bumper factory warranty. The salesman explained that it would be $100 dollars down , and then $146.94 a month starting January for 17 months for the ultimate coverage package. I paid the $100 down and made $146.94 from January 2018-May of 2019 for a total of $2597.98 . I received a booklet in the mail with a card that had my contact # , vin # , expiration date 12/20/2023 or mileage of 76,000 , deductible of $100 . In October of 2023 my air conditioner quit working , and my front right brake caliper seemed to be sticking and would pull to the right . I took the 2015 GMC SIERRA truck on November 20,2023 to my local GMC mechanic and informed them of my extended warranty from Vanguard Vehicle Armor , then explained what was wrong. Air conditioner ,brake caliper sticking ,and also driver side heated seat not working. It took a week for Vanguard to send a inspector to look at the truck,and GMC contacted me on Friday November 25 at 8:00 am saying Vanguard had said that they were canceling my warranty because of the altered suspension. The GMC guy told him that this was a Southern Comfort package from the factory that the customer bought brand new off the lot. Then Vanguard said I would need to contact customer service. I've been calling 10 times a day with everyone saying it's in review. No returned calls for 17 days! Exp. Dec. 20 Resolution Sought I had to pay for the repairs myself right here before Christmas. All calls are recorded at Vanguard, I explained the vehicle to the salesman , bought the warranty in good faith. Either reimburse me for the repairs or give me a full refund of $2597.98 ! This is RIDICULOUS that a company can just ghost a customer like this with no repercussions. I believe Vanguard is waiting for my warranty to expire on Dec. 20,2023 to return my call . If not resolved, I will contact my State Attorney General !
