My Complaint is about a Cable box that I returned to Verizon in error. I was returning my boxes to Verizon and my son Had come in on his way home Saturday morning, 9/7/24 and dropped off one of his cable boxes so I could watch Tv while I got Optimum which will be installed on (9/16/24). He works a night Shift. I was sleeping(When he dropped them off). I got up Saturday morning and got the cable boxes together to return them to Verizon. I just grabbed the boxes put them in a bag while I waited for a taxi. Grabbed 3 boxes but Only 2 belonged to Verizon and in error left the Verizon tower on the table. I arrived at the Verizon office at 125 Westchester Ave. To return the items. When I get called. I put the 3 boxes down she looks in the system and proceeds to tell me I should only be returning 2. She speaks to the manager and the manager tells her to take them. But if only 2 belong to you why would you take all 3? Just take what belongs to you period! So proceeds to put into the system and I leave and go home. That evening my son calls to ask how the box is working and that's when I realize my mistake. On Monday when I go to 125 Westchester Ave inquiring about the box I am told they are gone and there's nothing they can do or I can. So not fair I am 68 years old and I have been In my home since Saturday looking at program in my little cell phone. My point is she should have just giving it back to me and not kept it My son now has to replace that box. Resolution Sought I doubt you can do anything or replace that box. I am very upset about this situation and feeling like Verizon doesn't give a dang about its customers.
