I am a US veteran. I purchased a vehicle from PA and was driving home to Missouri. During the trip home it developed a major oil leak. A mechanic told me it had a cracked harmonic balancer which caused the leak. I was three states from home. I had to rent a car to drive the rest of the way home. I called the "veterans" auto warranty and informed them. Their warranty states that harmonic balancer is covered. They refused to cover that repair. They said I had it installed before their inspector could inspect it. The warranty service didn't even have an inspector in that area and didn't get one to the mechanics shop until days later. Stacie from veterans warranty was very rude. I asked her for a copy of the inspectors notes. She said I could have them if I went to court. I stated I paid for the warranty so shouldn't that include a mechanics report? No she said. I told her I was ashamed of her and her company. They are not a company of "veterans" I have ever known or would ever share a foxhole with. Hopefully Stacie or none of the board members ever run for office or the country will continue on its road to failure and mistrust by the American people. Shameful, insidious behavior misrepresenting, disgracing and riding on the coat tails of an honored name of the word veteran. Resolution Sought Remove the word Veteran from the company name.

VIA WEBSITE Business Consumer Alliance Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing on behalf of Veterans Auto Warranty, Inc. as their Compliance Officer in response to the above referenced matter. The issue appears to revolve around the counter balance shaft and they way Mr. Crider fulfilled his obligations under his contract. Mr. Crider indicated to Veterans that time was of the essence for evaluating his matter. Veterans promptly complied. An inspection was preformed wherein it was discovered that Mr. Crider in violation of his contract authorized repairs to his vehicle, effectively denying Veterans the opportunity to properly evaluate his claim. The complaint appears to be a counter balance shaft. The counter balance shaft, which Mr. Crider claims to have been replaced, in fact showed signs of wear. It is impossible to access whether it was a replacement or whether the initial shaft failed. Moreover, information was obtained which questions whether the shaft in his vehicle was improperly installed from a prior repair. If this were the case, it would be a pre-existing condition and not covered by his policy. The contract clearly states that a claim is to be reported through normal channels and process. As such, Mr. Crider violated the terms and conditions of his contract procedurally. Leaving questions as to the cause, quality, and nature of the repair to his vehicle. Accordingly, the client's self-help remedy has made it impossible to do anything other than deny his claim. Thank you and for your time and courtesies. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Very truly yours, /s/ Salvatore P.J. Vito, Esquire Salvatore P.J. Vito, Esquire Compliance Officer

Business Consumer Alliance: RE: Mr. Coll. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing on behalf of Veterans Auto Warranty, Inc. as their Compliance Officer in response to the above referenced Complaint. Attempts were made to effectuate a repair through Hyundai as there was a service bulletin on the car. However, that repair was refused. The issue concerning the motor is that it has low compression in cylinders two and three. Mr. Coll was told that additional tear down of the engine would be necessary to determine the actual cause of the failure. The customer was also advised that under Paragraph 9 of his contract, loss of compression is not a covered item. Additionally, vehicles that were subject to a service bulletin and not brought in for service or repair under the bulletin are not covered. Thank you and for your time and courtesies. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Very truly yours, Salvatore P.J. Vito, Esquire Compliance Officer
