Before moving into my apartment last year, I was charged a $500.00 security deposit and my rent $925.00 by Viamonte Investments Group LLC. I was told by Noemi Rocha, she works for the company and did my walkthrough, that the $500.00 is a security deposit. My lease also says that the $500.00 is the charge for my security deposit. I recently moved out of that apartment. I let Viamonte Investments Group LLC know that I was moving out. I always made my payments on time and everything is still in good condition. I contacted Viamonte Investments Group LLC and Noemi Rocha and asked for my security deposit. The company told me that the $500.00 is non refundable because it was a move-in fee and they must have made a mistake. I paid a $500.00 security deposit and they know it. I have my signed lease that states that my $500.00 was my SECURITY DEPOSIT. This company is trying to run a scam. They were VERY unprofessional the whole time I lived in my apartment. They would never fix anything when I called for maintenance. They controlled my heat and never fixed my thermostat, like I was told. I was left in my apartment freezing for days when the weather was below 0. Anytime I would call for maintenance, Noemi Rocha would be rude or give me attitude. I had to deal with so much with that company since the day I moved in. That's why as soon as my least was up, I left. I refused to stay another year there. Now this, this is ridiculous. They are trying to steal my $500.00 . I am owed that! Resolution Sought I want them to return my full $500.00 SECURITY DEPOSIT.
