I'm writing to complain about this company because I feel that they took advantage of me being a senior citizen they sold us a security system and told us they would take over our other security system by paying it off they never told us that they would bill us $4000 for the equipment and now they disconnected the equipment and refused to take it back and still want to charge us and never paid off our other security system please help Resolution Sought I would like them to come and get there equipment and leave us alone

Problem: was double charged $1,700 for my previous account. I have been waiting on a refund for this mistake for over a year now. This double billing was a Vivint mistake and no fault of my own. I have been calling numerous times, spoken to multiple people. All they tell me is they don't know how it happened, that a refund check is coming, but it never arrives! Every time I call, it takes hours, and I am transferred to multiple agents and departments. This has been the worst nightmare with any service in all our lives! This is unbelievable and ridiculous! Not only should this mistake be corrected immediately, we should be compensated for the countless hours spent over the past year trying to get this fixed! We closed our previous account and transferred our service to our current home of over 3 years. Yet somehow, we were billed for the current and previous account for several months.
