Wakefield Dental complaints

My braces were paid in full from 2014-2015 and this included the cost of my expander, my braces, and my retainer. This covered the cost of everything that had to be done to my teeth. I ended up going to a lockdown facility with the braces on my teeth and it was not possible for me to get to my dentist appointments. Now that I am able to go again, my dentist wants me to pay for the braces all over again and will not continue the treatment that we had already paid for. I never even got the retainer because this comes after the braces. I still have the braces on my teeth and am stuck right now because no other dentist will touch them. My dentist has offered to take them off but I am not done with treatment yet, my teeth are still not straight. We paid all this money to get straight teeth, I don't feel like the dentist should be able to keep the money and stop the treatment under any circumstance. It is already paid for, I can go to my appointments now, why can't she continue the treatment she had already started? I even had an appointment scheduled to get them taken off because I felt there was no other option but they just called and said they had to reschedule me and the next available time was 2 months away! I'm tired of fighting this dentist and am worried that because she will not have to treat me in the future, she will not care if she messes up my teeth or not when she takes my braces off. They make me feel more of a hassle than a customer and makes me uneasy to go there Resolution Sought I would like the dentist to continue my treatment without charging me to start a new treatment because they never finished the one I paid for. I only need my braces fixed and my retainer because we were halfway done. I understand inflation so I am even willing to pay the difference of what the prices were in 2014 to what they are now in 2024. If not, then I would like a refund on the retainer I never received and on the braces because they were not finished.
