My husband went shopping at the Walmart in middlesboro ky 40965. After he was done checking out and paying for our items the store so called security stopped him and accused him of stealing a pack of markers . He apologized and offered to pay for them. He explained that it was a mistake he didn't see them. They refused to take the money and called the cops. He was arrested and charges with theft!!! They held his personal belongings as well as our groceries, 1 bag of cigarette tobacco 3 boxes of cigarette tubes and bikes. They said that he had 24 hrs to have someone get his things or they where going to throw them away!!! So my husband spent 24 days in jail lost our belongings and our food items as well as our cigarette items and bikes all due to an honest mistake.!!! We still have the receipt for our groceries!!! We have not been reimbursed for anything!!! We can't go to Walmart because we are banned for something that was truly an honest mistake and ur security refused to let him pay for the item!!! I feel it's only right that we received our property bikes tobacco and grocery money back!!? If not then we have hired an attorney!! Oh and I believe you need to do something about your rent a cops that work for you!! Thank you and I hope something can be done about this without any problems!! God bless Resolution Sought I would like Walmart to repay for personal property, bikes, tobacco, and grocery items that where kept at the store!! And also to unban my husband for there rent a cop security !! And also fire or some kind of reprimand for those security people!!
