Without prior knowledge of any kind, I had 50 cents stolen from me because Walmart is experiencing a coin shortage. There is no way they should be allowed to do that and not give it back. This action is theft and not only that it is premeditated. Cashiers are instructed to tell every customer, however, that did not happen to me nor anyone else standing in the line. Two banks offered plenty of coin. One bank is limiting customers coin to insure local businesses have plenty. No shortage of coin is experienced by any other companies in Pendleton, Oregon. Resolution Sought Not to steal from the elderly and families on a fixed income. In general give all the change back to their customers they have coming. I have my receipt to prove my allegations.
