Walmart on cedar road in Chesapeake made me wait thirty minutes for a pickup order. When he came out he said I would need to cancel my order because one item was holding it up. I canceled my order and then I found out I wouldn't be able to get my groceries unless I pay for them again because the money won't be put back in my account for 2 to 3 days. The manager offered me a 20 dollar gift card to help me get by over the next few days!! I'm a single mother of 3 who places orders weekly from Walmart and not small orders either. I do not have government assistance I work a full time job and provide for my kids from my own bank account. I also have a child in and out of doctors and hospitals and I currently am paying thousands of dollars towards that as well. So I don't have extra money laying around in my account to just place another order the same day. That manager of the pickup department sent a young boy to talk to me and on the phone as well when I tried to call. I told him to keep the 20 dollar gift card because that can't do a thing for me that doesn't even cover gas that I wasted getting there. Resolution Sought They are giving me my original refund in who knows how many days. Twenty dollars to help me get by does nothing for me with 3 small children. That is an insult and I hope no other single mother comes across that manager when an issue arises
