We dropped our down comforter off on Tues. 1/18/2022, and picked it up on 1/27/2022 to have a small pet stain removed, the comforter was in great condition when we left it with them. We were given a stub green stub as a receipt to present upon pick up to claim our comforter. On Wed. on 1/262022 we went to get our goods and I presented the owner (Torre) with the stub and she could not find it but she found one without a number and said this must be yours. When I brought it to the car I told my husband this did not look like ours. He looked at it and said no this is not ours. We both went back inside and spoke with Torre and she said to take it home and unpackage it and if it isn't ours to return it. First of all ours had a very heavy fill with no other stains on it and it looked new. The one Torre gave us was a light fill was heavily stained and had a gold edging around it and was faded. Ours had NO edging and was in new condition as we only use it for about 2 months yearly due to the warmth of the heavy fill. We returned it and she became volatile, a lot of yelling on her part and told us to watch a recording of the drop off upstairs which clearly showed the drop off which was never disputed. This was a $379.00 comforter and it did not disappear and an employee told us that no one had picked up a down comforter in weeks, it was a very good one and we want to be compensated for what we paid for it. Resolution Sought Compensate us for what we paid for it.
