October of 2021, I signed a contract to have two sliding doors and one outside door installed in my den leading to my patio. Later permitting required removing an interior window. I was assured there would be no extra cost to me and the job would be finished paint ready. The job was scheduled for install in April 2022. All of April no call from Weathertite so I called for an installation date. Windows were not in, installation to be rescheduled for July 2022. All of July no call, called for an installation date. Windows were not in, installation unknown. During this time, two of my friends had all the windows replaced in their condos by other companies. The work was scheduled at the beginning of 2022 and completed within six months. Both friends are completely satisfied with the beautiful work that was done on their windows. At the end of September 2022, I received three calls in one week (according to my phone records) saying the windows were in. Now I had unforeseen medical bills. I tried to cancel the contract (a year later) and was told a lien would be placed on my condo. Additional financing was turned down. November 18, 2022 install date set but cancelled by Weathertite. November 21, 2022 install began, would take 2 to 3 days, took over a week & still not complete. November 30, 2022 Passed inspection. December 27, 2022 tech sent to house. February 16, 2023 Still waiting. Finishing strips on floor, stickers on window, unfinished concrete step, ceiling nicked & more Resolution Sought It is February 16, 2023, contract was October , 2021. I would like the job finished and the contract price reduced. I have been going through health issues and this has been one great aggravation.
