We are filing this complaint against Hyatt regarding a timeshare contract and loan that we believe should be declared null and void. We were induced into this agreement through deceptive sales practices that misrepresented the true nature and value of the ownership. Hyatt must take responsibility for these tactics instead of claiming that an open loan prevents them from allowing an exit. This is a transparent excuse to trap consumers in predatory debt. This timeshare is a severe financial burden that drains our resources while providing zero value. This experience has caused significant stress and anxiety, as we are now facing a debt that offers no benefit. Resolution Sought We are seeking a full release from this contract and the cancellation of the associated loan. Relieving this debt is essential for our financial stability and mental well-being. The most important benefit of leaving this timeshare will be the freedom to live our lives without the weight of this deceptive agreement.

I am requesting the immediate cancellation of my timeshare contract due to several significant issues, including the use of high-pressure sales tactics and material breaches of promises regarding maintenance fees and usage availability. The purchase process was characterized by intense pressure. Despite our initial refusal, we faced aggressive and persistent pressure that made it extremely difficult to leave the presentation without signing the contract. A crucial misrepresentation involved the maintenance fees. We were explicitly assured that these fees would remain stable. However, contrary to this promise, the fees have continuously and significantly increased, resulting in an unexpected and unsustainable financial burden. Furthermore, we have been unable to book vacations and utilize the timeshare property as it was intended. Given the escalating, misrepresented maintenance fees, the consistent inability to use the timeshare, and the resulting financial distress, we seek to terminate our contract immediately.
