This complaint concerns unfair business practices and rigid exit barriers by Hyatt Vacation Club regarding ownership ID 1556992. Hyatt obstructs a reasonable resolution to a product no longer viable for my family, creating a "merry-go-round" of corporate redirection. Procedural Failures Following a previous BBB complaint, Customer Advocacy Director Hutch Farrell explicitly directed me to the Exit Team to cancel. I submitted the required forms, but on October 6, 2025, I received a denial from Wanda. She claimed no exit options existed and suggested selling externally. Predatory Market Control Hyatt's recommendation to sell externally is disingenuous. Hyatt maintains a Right of First Refusal (ROFR) on external sales, creating a predatory "catch-22": they refuse to take points back directly, yet reserve the legal right to block any private sale I might broker. Consumer Violations Hyatt frames this as "Real Estate" to avoid standard return policies, though these are intangible points with zero utility outside the Hyatt ecosystem. Consumers shouldn't be held in perpetuity to an unusable contract. Forcing me to third-party markets while controlling them via ROFR prevents a fair resolution. Requested Resolution I acted in good faith, offering to sign over the ownership for Hyatt to resell. On October 31, I requested management intervention. I seek an immediate release from contract ID 1556992. I request Hyatt cease these circular tactics and provide a straightforwar Resolution Sought I am seeking an immediate and direct release from contract ID 1556992. I request that Hyatt cease these circular redirection tactics and provide a straightforward surrender of the ownership.

We own the timeshare and can no longer afford the fee's. My wife had a transplant and can no longer travel. I was diagnosed with cancer and the Hospital bills are making it impossible for us to keep it. Resolution Sought We would like for them to buy it back or work a deal with us so we are free from it.
