Customer Complaint

Consumer alleges your company mistreated her and refused to take her gift card as payment. Consumer went into the store yesterday 01/10/2022 and attempted to pay with her gift card. The cashier told her she still owed $22 however consumer explained that the gift card had $50. She was given .80 cents back cash and was asked to leave the store. Consumer asked to speak to a manager however was given a hard time. When another person went to assist her, she was told again there was no money on the card and was given another .80 cents back. when consumer questioned her she said she did not know what was going on and therefore there was nothing you could do. Consumer check the balance online and it has $55.29, which she showed you staff. Consumer went to another Wendy's and was able to use the card with no problem. This was an inconvenience because she had to drive 29 miles to another location. Consumer wants a manager to contract her to address this issue. Resolution Sought Consumer wants a manager to contract her to address this issue.
