Worst Experience EVER!!!!
This was the worst experience I've ever had! I feel they used my fiancé and me to make quota. We were told by Juan, the finance manager, the only car on the entire lot we would qualify for was a 2010 Toyota Sienna. I originally wasn't interested because I wanted an SUV. He got very angry and rude that I wasn't initially interested. However, Skylar, who was our salesman, convinced us to look at it and I ended up liking it. So it was 05/30/2022 and we were there until 11:00 PM. We signed all the paperwork and were told that we would both be on the loan so that it would help our credit as we made the payments and after a year we could come back and get whatever SUV we wanted. We were told we needed a $500 down payment in addition 2 my car, which they were giving us $7400 for, and full coverage insurance so we could drive the van. The next day we called and said we didn't think that the payments would fit well in our budget and the $500 down payment was hard because we weren't expecting that since we had a trade-in. We told them we had changed our minds. I then got a call from Juan threatening us. He stated, "if we didn't come and get the van he would push the paperwork through anyway and we would end up paying for the van anyway, but wouldn't have it or our car either." He said he would waive the $500 down payment, but we were still not sure. Juan again threatened us and said we had until 6:00 o'clock PM to get there, he also stated that it wasn't fair to Skylar to not come because he wouldn't make quota. Thinking we really had no other choice, we went and got there just before they closed. They would not give us any paperwork pertaining to the deal. The only thing they did was send my fiancé a picture with their fingers blocking out information but showing just enough info for us to get the insurance. We were about to leave when Skyler ran up and showed us a piece of paper stating they had gotten our payments lowered by about $60 a month. However, we were not provided with that piece of paper either. We ended up being very happy with the van. Then, about two weeks after getting the van the loan company called and said they never received my fiancé's earnings information. I asked what exactly they needed, sent it to them, called to verify they received it, and I was told they did and all was good. However, I then received a call from Juan telling me that we needed to bring the van back. I asked him why but he didn't give me a specific reason. Juan threatened us once again, but this time he said, "Bring the van back or get a repo and I'll falsify the paperwork or "lose it" (which we still never received a copy of)." I was over his threats so I told him I would call the loan company, to which he replied, "Don't you DARE!" A week before our first payment was due I went outside and our van was gone. I called the loan company but they said that the dealership withdrew the loan, which was weird, but out of their hands, W. Chapel Honda STOLE our van!
