Financed an auto loan through them, they didn't take the automatic payment on the date it was set to come out then canceled my contract because my payment was late now I'm left scrambling to find a co-signer to finance with a different lender. May 1, 2025 Dear Ms. Grissom: Western Funding, Inc ("Western Funding", "we" or "our") has received the above referenced complaint. We value our customers and consider each complaint an opportunity to assist and service our customers more effectively. Thank you for permitting Western Funding the opportunity to respond to your concerns. We confirm that the automatic payment was initiated on the scheduled date. However, it returned due to insufficient funds. This process typically takes 3 to 5 business days. Unfortunately, if there are insufficient funds or an error occurs during this period, the payment will be returned, resulting in an insufficient funds fee. This is a standard procedure across global banking facilities and is beyond our control. While bank payments save you from processing fees, they do not absolve you from consequences if something goes wrong. Many customers prefer using their debit cards despite the fee because it provides immediate confirmation of payment status and does not incur extra charges. Due to a first payment default, the account was subsequently subjected to a dealer buyback. This policy is in place because of the risk involved with accounts encountering such issues and is in accordance with industry standards. As relayed to you by one of our representatives, all matters relating to the account must be directed to the dealership. Western Funding appreciates your business, and we trust that we have sufficiently addressed your concerns. I was finance a car with a bank but the car broke down three days later. Then the dealer took the car back for repairs and told me they was fixing the problem then they stop answering the phone then I called the bank to let them know what's going on & there fuad department was investigating but it's been weeks with no answer and now the bank's calls me to tell me they're taking the car back and I still have to pay for it both of them the dealer and the bank been giving me the run around it's been months and I don't know whats next Resolution Sought I want this off my credit report and the car returned cause I feel like they frauded me
